Elric's Sail Cuts A Green Channel Toward Imrryr, The Dreaming City

Epic Illustrated #4 Elric "The Dreaming City (Part II)" Splash Page 2 Original Art by P. Craig Russell (Marvel/Epic, 1980).

A second page of original art from The Dreaming City has now gone “live” at Heritage Auctions! More about the page from the auction’s description:

Elric's sail cuts a green channel toward Imrryr, the Dreaming City. Prismatic towers and domes stack skyward under a target-bright sun, cliffs framing the guarded harbor maze. This Epic Illustrated adaptation by Roy Thomas and P. Craig Russell helped cement Michael Moorcock's Elric in mainstream American comics, after earlier small-press editions. Marvel then reprinted the Epic installments and completed the narrative with new chapters in Marvel Graphic Novel #2. Created in ink with watercolor over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Lightly toned, with discolored production tape in the margins, and tape registration marks in the side margins. Signed by Russell in the bottom margin. In Very Good condition.
