They say you have to “kill your darlings” . . . and I’m killin’ quite a few! Having to cut some choice bits from the Into The Dreaming City comic art documentary. We have 64 pages of original art to cover—on top of the interview portions—so some things just have to go. At this point, we might not even have enough room on the disc to include outtakes, so I figure that we’ll run some here for your viewing enjoyment. 😆
Wayne Alan Harold is an independent editor, publisher and filmmaker who lives in Hudson, Ohio. His documentary work has been screened at the Cleveland Museum of Art and the Wexner Center for the Arts in Columbus. He is also the editor and publisher of an acclaimed series of art books featuring the work of award-winning illustrator P. Craig Russell. He’s currently creating a “comic art documentary” about Russell’s work on the classic graphic novel, The Dreaming City.
